Bérek a munkanélküliség előtt és után
[Wages before and after unemployment]

Abstract

A magyarországi munkanélküliség nagyságáról rendszeres statisztikák, várható időtartamáról néhány kutatási beszámoló alapján többékevésbé pontos képet alkothatunk. Sokkal kevesebbet tudunk arról, hogy a munkanélküliség milyen anyagi következményekkel jár az érintettek számára. Mit veszítenek a munkanélkülivé válással, és mit nyerhetnek az állásba lépéssel? A cikk anyagául szolgáló 1994. áprilisi adatfelvétel bemutatása után az elemzés három kérdésre kíván választ adni: 1. Miért kirívóan alacsonyak a munkanélkülivé válók bérei, és hogyan alakult az elmúlt években e csoport kereseti hátránya a foglalkoztatottak átlagához képest? 2. Milyen tényezők befolyásolják a (segélyezett) munkanélküliek elhelyezkedésének valószínűségét, és hogyan befolyásolja ez a szelekció a munkanélküliség utáni béreket? 3. Hogyan viszonyulnak az elhelyezkedők bérei a foglalkoztatottakéhoz, illetve saját korábbi kereseteikhez?
