Starke Position der Schweizer Wirtschaft im internationalen Innovationswettbewerb

Abstract

Das Wachstum der Schweizer Wirtschaft wird längerfristig stark beeinflusst durch die Innovationsleistung der Unternehmen. Um diese beurteilen zu können, führt die KOF der ETH Zürich seit 1990 regelmässig eine Erhebung bei rund 6000 Firmen durch. Wir präsentieren hier Resultate zu folgenden Fragen: Wie entwickelte sich die Innovationsleistung der Wirtschaft seit 1990, und durch welche Faktoren wurde sie behindert? Wie schneidet die Schweiz im internationalen Vergleich ab? Konnten die Unternehmen dank Neuerungen ihre Marktleistung und Produktivität steigern? Welche Folgen hat die Wirtschaftskrise auf die Innovationstätigkeit? Wie kann die Politik die Innovationsfähigkeit der Firmen stärken?
