Aspects Concerning the Strategy for the Prevention and Countering of Financing Terrorism

Abstract

Terrorism financing is one of the most serious and sophisticated criminal phenomenon in today’s world, the prevention and combat of it requiring a coherent global strategy. This study discusses the main points of the strategy against terrorism financing elaborated in Romania, the legal instruments in force at international and regional level, the Romanian legal and institutional framework, the judicial cooperation in the field, and the efforts made to integrate the Romanian anti-terrorist strategy in the global strategy in the field.
