Abstract

One of my University of Pennsylvania professors, Kenneth D. MacKenzie (now at the University of Kansas), sent in this update of his December 1970 Management Science article "Analysis of a Decision Making Investigation." Once I saw Ken's title (above) for this update. I knew we were in for some fun. I've cut the essay a little and I've knocked out Ken's lengthy bibliography of related articles and books (which you may want to write him about) because Marty Starr likes to run some new stuff in this journal, too.
