Türkiye’den çıkan doğrudan yatırımları belirleyen etmenler, 1992-2005

Abstract

Türkiye’den çıkan doğrudan yatırımları belirleyen etmenlerin, çekim modeli yaklaşımı ile araştırıldığı bu çalışmada, 1992-2005 döneminde toplam çıkan yatırımların önemli bir kısmını oluşturan onbir ülke üzerinden inceleme yapılmıştır. Rassal etkiler yöntemi kullanılarak tahmin edilen modellerde, Türkiye’den yabancı ülkelere yapılan yatırımlar, ülkelerin kişi başına gayrisafi yurtiçi hasılaları, nüfus ve mesafe gibi geleneksel çekim değişkenlerinin yanı sıra karşılıklı ticaret, ekonomik istikrar, üretkenlik ve benzeri faktörler dikkate alınarak analiz edilmiş; doğrudan dış yatırımların ağırlıklı olarak, pazarlara erişim amaçlı yatay yatırımlar şeklinde olduğu, mesafe ve Türkiye’den ev sahibi ülkeye yapılan ihracat ile arttığı saptanmıştır. Çalışmada, Türkiye’den çıkan yatırımların hem yatırımlara ev sahipliği yapan ülkelerdeki hem de Türkiye’deki kişi başına gelirlerde meydana gelecek artışlarla azalacağı görülmüştür. Bu sonuç, Türkiye’den çıkan yatırımların gerçekleştiği alanlar ve ürün yelpazesinin sorgulanması ihtiyacını doğurmaktadır.
