Abstract

Bu çalışmanın temel motivasyonu küresel likidite kavramını incelemektir. Bu çerçevede likidite tanımları yapılmış, küresel likiditeyi ölçmeye yönelik kullanılan göstergeler incelenmiş, likiditenin nasıl bollaştığı ve neden hızlıca ortadan kaybolduğu da çalışmanın kapsamı içindedir. Amaçlanan bir diğer unsur ise son yıllarda giderek daha çok tartışılan küresel dengesizliklerin küresel likiditeyle olan bağlantılarının açıklığa kavuşturulmasıdır. Çalışmanın son kısmında Türkiye ekonomisine ilişkin likidite göstergeleri türetilmiş ve tartışılmıştır.
