Sermaye yapısı, varlıklar ve karlılık: İmalat işletmeleri üzerine bir uygulama

Abstract

Büyük imalat işletmeleri İMKB’nin önemli bir parçasını oluşturmaktadır. Finans teorisine göre bir işletmenin sermaye yapısı, sermaye maliyetini ve işletmenin piyasa değerini etkilemektedir. Bu çalışmada, panel analizi kullanılarak Türk imalat sektöründe sermaye yapısı, varlıklar ve karlılık arasındaki ilişki araştırılmıştır. Son ekonomik gelişmeleri takiben Türk imalat işletmeleri küresel pazarlarda daha yoğun rekabetle karşılaştıkları gibi yeni fırsatlarla da karşı karşıya kalmaktadırlar. Bu sebeple, sermaye yapılarının geliştirilebilmesi için Türk imalat işletmeleri daha yüksek düzeyde ihracat gerçekleştirerek ölçek ekonomileri yardımıyla daha yüksek varlık verimi ve karlılık sağlamalıdırlar.
