Post Keynesyen gelir ve para arzı modeli: 1980-2003 Türkiye deneyimi

Abstract

Heterodoks iktisat okullarından Post-Keynesyen iktisat teorisi ücretlerin belirlenmesi, emek piyasası ve ücretler ile enflasyon ilişkisi üzerine değişik görüşler öne sürmüştür. Gerçek dünyayı ampirik gözlemlere uygun olarak açıklamaya çalışan bu görüşlerden hareketle çalışmamızda Post Keynesyen milli gelir ve para arzı modellerinin ampirik olarak sınanması amaçlanmıştır. Keynes (1964), Weintraub (1981-82) ve Davidson (1994) tarafından yapılan çalışmalarda Post Keynesyen gelir ve para arzı modeli otonom harcamaların pozitif bir fonksiyonu olarak tanımlanmıştır. Bu tanımdan hareketle Türkiye ekonomisi için bu teorik öngörünün geçerliliği Johansen eşbütünleşme tekniğiyle sınanmıştır. Çalışmamız Keynes (1964), Weintraub (1981-82) ve Davidson (1994) tarafından ortaya koyulan teorik öngörüyü desteklemektedir: milli gelirin otonom harcamalara duyarlılığı 1.20 bulunurken M2 para arzı ile otonom harcamalar arasında da birim esnek bir ilişki olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Çalışmamızın literatüre katkısı Türkiye’de Post Keynesyen düşünceyle uyumlu olarak otonom harcamaların milli gelir düzeyi ve para arzını etkileyebilme gücü olduğunun ortaya koyulmasıdır.
