Tekstil Ve Hazır Giyim Sanayilerinde Uluslar Arası Rekabet

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Türkiye tekstil ve hazır giyim sanayilerinin son on yıllık dönemdeki rekabet gücü ve rekabet koşullarındaki değişimler incelenmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucu bu sanayilerin AB ve ABD pazarlarında oldukça başarılı olduğu ve yakın dönemde rekabetçi gücünü sürdürebileceği saptanmıştır. Fakat, tektsil ve hazır giyim sanayilerindeki gelişmeler ve özellikle 2005’den sonra kotaların kalkmasıyla sonucu, rekabet koşullarının önemli ölçüde değişmesi beklenmektedir. Türkiye’nin ihracat gelirinin %40’ını kazanan bu sanayilerin yeni dönemde rekabetçi güçlerini koruyabilmeleri için bu değişimlere karşı hazırlıklı olması gerekmektedir.
