Türkiye Üniversitelerinde Kadın Emek Gücü

Abstract

Çalışma kadın eğitimindeki yapı değişimini açıklamayı amaçlar. Türkiye’de okuma yazma oranı %10’lar düzeyinden %100’ler düzeyine ulaşmayı hedeflerken, yüksek eğitimli oranıda yükselme eğilimindedir. Bu yükseliş akademisyen oranında da belirgin bir artışı getirmiştir. Çalışma açısında önemli nokta okuma yazma oranı çok düşük olan kadının akdemik ilerlemesidir. Okuma yazma oranı yükselen kadının toplam akademisyenler içindeki oranı da hızla artmaktadır. Oranlar kadınlar lehine değişirken, erkek mesleği kabul edilen mühendislik dallarında bile kadın akademisyenler hızla artmaktadır. Bu çalışmada ise Türkiye Cumhuriyetindeki akademik kadın emeği Türkiye genelinde 71 üniversitede kadın akademisyenlerin unvanlara, bölümlemelere ve coğrafi bölgelere göre dağılımı, İstanbul ve dört büyük ilde gözlenen dağılım ve özel üniversitelerin Türkiye genelini yansıtıp yansıtmadığı şeklinde dört farklı bölümde incelenecektir.
