La tipología estratégica como factor determinante de la empresa conjunta internacional

Abstract

Este trabajo trata de analizar empíricamente la influencia que ejercen ciertas tipologías estratégicas sobre la elección de la empresa conjunta internacional. Para ello se han elegido tres tipos de estrategias: internacionalización, crecimiento y negocio. Después de su desarrollo conceptual, se ha elaborado un modelo de regresión logística binomial con datos de panel sobre una muestra representativa del sector manufacturero español (2000-2005). Los resultados demuestran que el desarrollo de una estrategia multipaís, de diversificación y/o de liderazgo en costes condiciona la elección de una empresa conjunta internacional versus una filial de plena propiedad.
