Abstract

Liquidity is the lifeblood of a business organization. This paper attempts to examine the liquidity position of TISCO, a private sector front line steel company, on the basis of some important liquidity ratios. The study also seeks to analyze the extent of the relationship between profitability and liquidity. It further presents the trend analysis of current assets, current liabilities and net working capital, along with hypotheses testing by the chi-square test. This research paper also offers some meaningful suggestions to improve the efficiency of the liquidity management of the company.
