Abstract

In Experimenten mit Bienen hat von Frisch nachgewiesen, da▀ Bienen mit ihren Augen nicht nur auf elektromagnetische Reize reagieren, sondern Farben sehen. Von diesen Experimenten ausgehend wird ausgef³hrt, da▀ die Sinnessysteme auch einen Code ausgebildet haben, in dem sie dem Gehirn Information aus der Peripherie ³bertragen konnten. Die Sinnesqualitõten der verschiedenen Sinne bildeten die Elemente des Codes. Sie gehen phylogenetisch dem Bewu▀tsein voraus und erm÷glichen es erst. Bewu▀t werden k÷nnen nõmlich erst die Sinnesqualitõten und ihre Derivate: Vorstellungen, Eigenschaftskategorien, Klassen von Objekten usw. M÷glich wurde diese bewu▀te Artikulation im Code der Sinnesqualitõten erst, nachdem das neokortikale Netzwerk und das retikulo-thalamo-kortikale Aktivierungssystem die unerlõ▀lichen neuro-anatomischen Voraussetzungen f³r ein zentral gesteuertes Verhalten der Aufmerksamkeit boten.
