Banking Sector In May 2014

Abstract

The trends towards slower growth rate and deterioration of the quality the retail credit portfolio continued in May 2014. Additionally, state-run banks kept strengthening their position in this segment of the banking service market. The banking business’s profi tability kept declining. Furthermore, the degree of banking sector’s dependence on regulators’ resources stabilized, and annual growth rates in retail deposits stopped slowing down.
