Abstract

In March of this year, the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, in association with the Journal of Financial Intermediation, sponsored a conference on research issues involving consumer transactions and credit. This article offers a summary of the papers presented at the conference. ; Also issued as Payment Cards Center Discussion Paper No 01-05
