Per un’Italia sostenibile: l’SDSN Italia SDGs City Index 2018

Abstract

Lo sviluppo sostenibile del pianeta richiede una condivisione di intenti a livello internazionale, ma non può prescindere dalla definizione di una opportuna strategia nazionale che a sua volta prende sostanza e forma attraverso i piani elaborati dai governi locali.È quindi indispensabile che le istituzioni del territorio conoscano adeguatamente il livello di sostenibilità urbana in termini di Obiettivi di sviluppo sostenibile intersecando la politica nazionale e il più ampio framework dell’Agenda ONU 2030. Il Rapporto analizza nel dettaglio 101 comuni-capoluogo di provincia italiani, fornendo uno spunto per riflettere sulle attuali sfide che l’Agenda 2030 pone in materia ambientale, sociale ed economica e sulle politiche utili a rispondere alle stesse. Inteso come uno strumento analitico e programmatico per le realtà urbane, il Rapporto evidenzia i punti di forza e di debolezza dei capoluoghi italiani, affinché la ricerca, il settore pubblico, le istituzioni, il settore privato e la società possano integrarsi ed incamminarsi sullo stesso sentiero verso la sostenibilità.
