I cambiamenti del costing nelle aziende manifatturiere italiane: risultati di una ricerca comparativa

Abstract

Rispetto agli studi sulle "nuove" pratiche di costing la dottrina italiana ed internazionale ha rivolto molta attenzione agli aspetti tecnici e teorici dei modelli. Tuttavia tale dibattito non si ? esteso con uguale intensit? al processo di diffusione di tali tecniche innovative nel lungo periodo; in particolare appare ridotta l?indagine sul carattere del processo di apprendimento e sul ruolo del cosiddetto "effetto moda" ( fashion effect ) nei cambiamenti dei sistemi di calcolo dei costi ( costing change ). Per questo motivo il presente articolo rielabora i risultati di due indagini condotte a distanza di dieci anni in Italia aventi per oggetto scopi informativi e tecniche di allocazione dei costi. In particolare questa ricerca mette a confronto i risultati per analizzare le modalit? di adozione di tecniche progredite quali l?Activity-Based Costing e il Target Costing in aziende manifatturiere operanti sul nostro territorio. Questo lavoro intende pertanto contribuire alla comprensione del processo di cambiamento nei sistemi contabili (Ax e Bj?rnenak, 2007) e ne conferma la presenza caratterizzata da modalit? di sviluppo non lineari nel lungo periodo (Burns e Vaivio, 2001).
