Discutiendo Conceptos: El Terrorismo Y El Turismo Bajo La Lupa

Abstract

Examined here is an often used tactic by ruling powers to blame subordinates and victims when there is so-called collateral damage. Military powers often call those who resist invasion, 'terrorists'. Similarly, owners of capital and their functionaries typically blame workers and their unions when consumers are inconvenienced. In this regard, tourists and the tourism industry provide a fruitful heuristic. What this paper explores is more than the commonalities between terrorism and tourism, this focuses on the fact terrorist has learned its tactics from West. Worker union organization coupled to management theories provided to many terrorists, educated in the best western universities, of a modus operandis.
