Capacidade De Carga Recreativa Para Embarcações: O Caso Da Área De Proteção Ambiental De Guadalupe

Abstract

El Área de Protección Ambiental de Guadalupe – APA de Guadalupe (litoral sur de Pernambuco) es un espacio natural protegido bastante frecuentada por turistas. Una de las principales formas de utilización del área es el paseo de barco. Aunque los paseos de barco formen parte de la propia historia del desarrollo del turismo en la APA de Guadalupe, se trata de una actividad que es responsable por diversos impactos ambientales. Partiendo del principio de que la estipulación de un límite máximo de embarcaciones podría auxiliar en la mitigación de los impactos ambientales causados por las embarcaciones, el presente trabajo utilizó la metodología de la capacidad de carga propuesta por Cifuentes et al (1992) en el caso de las embarcaciones en la APA de Guadalupe de modo a sugerir un límite máximo recomendado para el área. Los resultados indicaron que la capacidad de carga para el local es de 24 embarcaciones. Fue identificado también que este límite está próximo a ser extrapolado y que el principal factor que contribuye para eso es la deficiencia administrativa del órgano gestor del área.
