El Turismo Urbano-Metropolitano Y Su Configuración Espacial En Las Ciudades. Análisis De La Focalidad Urbana En Bahía Blanca (Argentina)

Abstract

El presente trabajo, que forma parte del Proyecto General de Investigación: 'Turismo y desarrollo: nuevos escenarios en la gestión integral de destinos turísticos en el Sudoeste bonaerense. Parte II', que se lleva a cabo en el Departamento de Geografía y Turismo de la Universidad Nacional del Sur, tiene como objetivo: analizar la focalidad urbana (Dosso, 2005) en la ciudad de Bahía Blanca (Argentina), considerando los diferentes espacios-actividades que se desarrollan en la misma, y su aptitud para la utilización como sitios con funcionalidad turística y recreativa. Dicho estudio, se aborda desde una perspectiva geográfica, contextualizando las variables descritas en el marco del turismo urbano-metropolitano y teniendo como punto de reflexión las implicancias de la actividad en el espacio de la ciudad. A partir de lo expuesto, se analiza la distribución y configuración de los diferentes focos urbanos existentes en Bahía Blanca, identificando los distintos recursos que los conforman y determinando su estructuración en la trama urbana.
