Desarrollo Local Endógeno Y Productos Turísticos. Caso Subregión Occidental De Jalisco, México

Abstract

El desarrollo de una región requiere del entendimiento de todos y cada uno de los actores que ahí se encuentran para encontrar los mecanismos propicios que coadyuven al beneficio del colectivo. La subregión de San Sebastián del Oeste, Mascota y Talpa de Allende contiene recursos naturales y culturales con potencialidad turística pero en la actualidad su estado ocioso los convierte en factores sujetos a la depredación por actividades convencionales del sector primario como la agricultura, la ganadería, la silvicultura, la minería entre otras. La presente investigación se desarrollo dentro del paradigma cualitativo, a través del método descriptivo interpretativo con apoyo en: bibliografía temática, entrevistas a los funcionarios de turismo de cada municipio que integra la subregión en cuestión y, con trabajo en situ mediante visitas guiadas a la subregión de la sierra occidental con el objeto de obtener la mayor información posible para la creación de un producto turístico (PT) para los municipios de Mascota, San Sebastián del Oeste y Talpa de Allende. Los principales elementos o componentes del PT de esta subregión fueron identificados a través de: la historia, la minería, la naturaleza y su construcción arquitectónica, aspectos estos que posibilitan la atractividad del PT regional. Los principales resultados encontrados del análisis investigativo refiere a que es posible y factible integrar un producto turístico que contenga a la subregión de la Sierra Occidental ya que se encontraron elementos distintivos para dicho producto entre ellos: sitios naturales, manifestaciones culturales, Folklore, realizaciones técnicas, científicas o artísticas contemporáneas, y acontecimientos programados.
