Valoración De Un Producto Turístico

Abstract

En la actualidad, la globalización permite la competencia entre un sinfín de destinos alrededor del mundo que atienden los distintos segmentos del mercado de viajeros año con año. Resulta, por lo tanto, necesario conocer el potencial de los destinos para orientar las políticas de desarrollo turístico de las regiones adecuadamente y alcanzar así, con mayores probabilidades, el éxito. Cada nación establece distintas metodologías para conocer la capacidad que tiene un destino de desarrollarse turísticamente y ofrecer un producto coherente con el mercado. A través de este trabajo, se propone realizar la valoración de los componentes del destino, identificando áreas de oportunidad para el desarrollo del producto como tal, al tiempo que se descubre la potencialidad del destino a través del desarrollo de otros de sus componentes. Para realizar la valoración resulta indispensable también conocer los deseos del mercado para identificar los aspectos que necesitan desarrollarse.
