Midiendo La Eficiencia En La Actividad Turística Mediante El Análisis Envolvente De Datos

Abstract

En este informe se describen los índices de eficiencia hallados sobre la base del empleo de la metodología de programación lineal del Análisis Envolvente de Datos (DEA, en inglés) en un conjunto de 12 instalaciones hoteleras Todo Incluido (TI) en Cuba, a partir de la aplicación de los modelos CCR y BCC orientados a las entradas. Tomando como referencia los resultados obtenidos, se propuso una redistribución de los recursos para las unidades de negocio ineficientes. Esta redistribución se realizó teniendo en cuenta los nuevos valores metas establecidos como óptimos para dichas unidades y los resultados reales alcanzados por aquellas unidades de negocio eficientes que, por su posición en la frontera de eficiencia, son consideradas como unidades de referencia para cada una de las ineficientes.
