El Efecto Económico De La Salinidad En El Cultivo Del Tomate En La Provincia Granma

    Abstract

    En la provincia de Granma, Cuba se estudió el comportamiento de variedades de tomate frente al estrés salino basado en indicadores agronómicos en condiciones de campo con el objetivo de evaluar a la salinidad. Se montó un experimento para evaluar el rendimiento agrícola de las variedades en condiciones de campo en un suelo salinizado y su efecto económico, el diseño experimental utilizado fue un arreglo experimental de bloques al azar, con arreglo factorial, replicando cuatro veces cada variante. Se empleó para todos los análisis el paquete estadístico profesional STATISTICA versión 6.0 para WINDOWS. Los resultados evidenciaron la existencia de variabilidad en la respuesta en los genotipos estudiados para la tolerancia a la salinidad, siendo las variedades Vyta y Amalia las más tolerantes, se afectó significativamente la fenología de la mayoría de las variedades. Las variedades de mejor rendimiento agrícola y de mejores indicadores económicos fueron Vyta y Amalia afectándose significativamente en Claudia, 533-86 y Mariela, aunque todas mostraron un decrecimiento e los indicadores económicos.
