Abstract

El plan de San Pedro de Sula es considerado uno de los más importantes movimientos insurreccionales cubanos en el Caribe. El artículo explica las relaciones entre el movimiento independista cubano y el liberal dominicano, puntos en común y circunstancias internas de su fracaso. Además demuestra la posición de la diplomacia española con los diferentes gobiernos latinoamericanos y principalmente con el movimiento liberal dominicano con el objetivo de comprender la posición política en la segunda mitad del siglo XIX.
