Abstract

Dilma Rousseff nació el 14 de diciembre de 1947 en la ciudad de Belo Horizonte, estado de Minas Gerais. Es economista de profesión y se afilio al PT en el año 2001; en el año 2002 fue convidada para asumir el Ministerio de Energía y Minas, cargo en el que permaneció hasta el año 2005, cuando pasó a ocupar la jefatura de la Casa Civil, al lado del presidente Luiz Inácio da Silva (Lula). Ella tiene estudios de pos-graduación en economía en la Universidad Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP).
