Valor De Uso E Valor De Opção Do Litoral Do Município De Canavieiras, Estado Da Bahia (Brasil)

Abstract

Este estudo utiliza o método do custo de viagem para valorar o valor recreacional do turismo nas praias do litoral Canavieiras-BA e para o valor de opção optou-se pela forma aberta. Para isso utilizou-se dados da pesquisa de demanda turística feita junto aos turistas que visitaram o município nos meses de fevereiro e outubro de 2003. Os resultados empíricos mostraram que a quantidade de dias que os turistas permanecem na praia é positivamente relacionada com os custos de transporte por viagem e inversamente relacionada com os custos incorridos no local de recreação (custos de viagem). Integrando a curva de demanda estimada em relação aos custos de viagem, chegou-se a um excedente do consumidor de aproximadamente R$ 68,11 por turista, por dia (alta estação) e R$ 41,43 (baixa estação). O valor de opção foi estimado em R$ 458.611,40 por mês no agregado (alta estação) e R$ 297.136,76 (baixa estação).
