Abstract

El siglo XIX mexicano, aspiró románticamente al surgimiento de un Estado uniforme. Las elites que se albergaron en el poder, no les podemos exigir la visión pseudo/multicultural que ahora se posiciona en los discursos oficiales. Por ende, trazaron un proyecto de nación – por llamarlo de una manera – que partía de un supuesto ficticio o al menos alojado en el mundo de sus ideas; un México, bien señalado por en antropólogo Bonfil Batalla, como imaginario, de luces, derechos y panfletos, para un pueblo que no tenía acceso a la educación formal.
