Abstract

A pesar de las opiniones que se puedan tener a favor o en contra de la política económica del actual gobierno, este novedoso mecanismo de realizar emisiones en el mercado nacional, no solamente ha representado un éxito para el manejo de la deuda pública por parte del Ministerio de Finanzas, en el sentido que se ha mejorado el perfil de la deuda externa venezolana (se cancelaron títulos con cupones más elevados, al emitir otros títulos con cupones más manejables), y por el otro lado cada vez más venezolanos conocen de mercado de capitales, y por lo tanto se muestran interesadas en invertir, sabiendo que con seguridad van a obtener una buena ganancia. Como prueba de esto tenemos, que si usted invirtió el equivalente a USD 1.000 desde la primera emisión (recordemos que las primeras emisiones de este tipo se dieron en el año 2003, en agosto los USD 1.500 millones del título 2010 y los USD 1.000 millones del título 2018), y hubiera invertido en todas en cada una de las emisiones (incluyendo las dos primeras de este año), hubiera visto como esos USD 1.000 se convirtieron en un poco más de USD 6.000, lo que significa que en estos 4 años ha obtenido una rentabilidad en dólares de 600%, ganancia anualizada de 150% en dólares.
