Abstract

Asilada la dirección nacionalista burguesa del MNR, en distintas embajadas, al considerar que el golpe de Estado que preparó había fracasado sin informarse que los sindicatos, fabriles, campesinos, universitarios y otros dirigidos por la Federación Sindical de Trabajadores Mineros de Bolivia (FSTMB) encabezado por Juan Lechin Oquendo que apuntalaban la política nacionalista revolucionaria, dotándose de armamento y municiones necesarias, en parte, distribuidos al pueblo, por ordenes del Ministro de Gobierno Antonio Seleme que comandaba el Cuerpo Nacional de Carabineros y por medio de asaltos a los polvorines y arsenales militares efectuados por la población en La Paz y el interior del país, se organizaron y produjeron movilizaciones urbanas y campesinas que impidieron el desplazamiento de las tropas y regimientos del ejército por el territorio nacional al grado que transformaron el golpe de Estado fracasado en una insurrección que derrotó al Ejercito e hizo posible el triunfó de la revolución de Abril.
