Venezuela Y China Relaciones Económicas En El Régimen De Hugo Chávez (1999-2011)

Abstract

Bajo el régimen de Hugo Chávez las relaciones bilaterales entre Venezuela y la República Popular China se han incrementado notablemente. Estas relaciones se explican por la necesidad de seguir un línea de política exterior venezolana en la cual la diversificación del mercado es fundamental para el proceso bolivariano producto de la abierta fricción con el gobierno estadounidense. El juego de intereses envuelve la necesidad de recursos energéticos fundamentales para mantener el nivel de desarrollo de China y el económico financiero que permite a Venezuela sostener cuanto más pueda la revolución bolivariana a través del modelo económico socialista. Este encuentro binacional conlleva riesgos para la nación suramericana que incrementa su deuda con la asiática comprometiendo su recurso más preciado, el petróleo, a entregas a futuro para sostener el gasto público.
