Los Nuevos Financistas Están Reduciendo El Déficit De Infraestructura En África

Abstract

De acuerdo con un nuevo informe del Banco Mundial, China, India y unos pocos Estados del Golfo de Oriente Medio están financiando un número sin precedente de proyectos de infraestructura en África al sur del Sahara. Los compromisos de inversión en África concertados por estos financistas de economías emergentes aumentaron de menos de US$1.000 millones al año antes de 2004 a US$8.000 millones en 2006 y US$5.000 millones en 2007, indicando una tendencia creciente en la cooperación entre economías en desarrollo (cooperación sur-sur).
