El Reciclaje: Una Opcion Para Minimizar La Generacion De Residuos Solidos Urbanos Domiciliarios

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se aborda al tema de la generación de residuos sólidos urbanos domiciliarios. Se presenta el reciclaje como una opción viable para disminuir esta generación y el impacto ambiental que representa. El estudio es de tipo cualitativo y presenta un estudio realizado en una muestra de 150 personas elegidas al azar, en la ciudad de H. Matamoros, Tamaulipas, México. El instrumento utilizado fue la entrevista por lo que los resultados muestran el punto de vista del ciudadano común. Entre los resultados se encuentra que a pesar de que la mayoría de la población cuenta con información sobre el cuidado al medio ambiente, es mínimo el porcentaje que realiza actividades de reciclaje desde su hogar. Se concluye con propuestas encaminadas a la creación de espacios y condiciones adecuadas para crear una verdadera cultura de reciclaje.
