El club de producto turístico como herramienta para el desarrollo socioeconómico en paises subdesarrollados

Abstract

Los países en vías de desarrollo presentan oportunidades para su desarrollo a través del turismo, si bien, en muchas ocasiones no se diseñan y crear productos y/o actividades turísticas de forma adecuada. En este sentido, en los últimos años han aparecido nuevas herramientas que pueden ayudar a promocionar y comercializar mejor un destino turístico específico, sobre todo, con la finalidad de mejorar el desarrollo socioeconómico de un destino a través de la actividad turística. Es el caso del club de producto. Esta herramienta puede ayudar a mejorar una zona geográfica como destino turístico a través de la creación de actividades turísticas, y a contribuir a mejorar el nivel de calidad de vida de las comunidades locales del destino a través de la creación de empleo y de la creación de nuevas empresas, sobre todo, en aquellas zonas localizadas en los países en vías de desarrollo, donde el turismo puede ayudar a mitigar la pobreza.
