Abstract

La integración económica es un término que se ha generalizado desde los años 50 del siglo XX, es un proceso objetivo en el escenario socio-económico, político mundial .actual. Para un desarrollo más integral ningún país puede escapar a este complejo fenómeno. El continente asiático ha registrado grandes logros en este proceso. En particular la región sureste es considerada la zona más dinámica, prometedora de la economía mundial durante los últimos y próximos años. Por eso, este trabajo se dedicará a analizar el proceso de integración de la Asociación de los Países del Sudeste Asiático (ASEAN), sus principales rasgos, resultados y perspectiva de desarrollo.
