Pánico Y Mercado: Contribuciones Y Limitaciones De Jean-Marie Dupuy Al Estudio Del Terror Financiero

Abstract

En una época caracterizada por una constante turbulencia y un creciente sentimiento de inseguridad, el trabajo titulado El pánico de Jean Pierre Dupuy exige debido a su profundidad y transparencia intelectual, por lo menos un comentario. El autor, comienza su capítulo introductorio con una pregunta, ¿cómo se mantiene unida la sociedad?, y continúa ¿Por qué las crisis que desgarran o los miedos que habitan en ella no degeneran en desórdenes generalizados o en desbandadas desenfrenadas?. Remitiéndose a la filosofía de Constant y Tocqueville (pero en especial de Emile Durkheim), Dupuy sostiene que toda sociedad posee un lazo invisible que la mantiene funcionando, como un inconsciente colectivo que se impone a los hombres. Siguiendo las enseñanzas de la mitología griega, cuando el lazo social deja un vacío y surge el desmoronamiento repentino del orden social, aparece el pánico.
