Abstract

A história apresenta-se nestes dias através de uma situação de encavalamento de todas as suas principais categorias sintéticas e regulares, categorias sociais tão regulares que mais se assemelham às naturais. Os cinco cavaleiros do apocalipse enfeixam-se célere e incontrolavelmente sob a batuta poderosa do capital financeiro. A guerra, a revolução, a crise, a catástrofe e a casualidade cavalgam freneticamente e sem rumo. Para o cúmulo dos pesares do status quo, a casualidade fez ocorrer o momento de colapso da longa crise iniciada em meados dos anos 70 justamente durante a disputa eleitoral à presidência da primeira e única potência mundial capitalista em atividade.
