Abstract

Este trabajo se desarrolla con la pretensión de aportar, desde la perspectiva cubana, aspectos que puedan resultar novedosos en el no suficientemente abordado tema de la administración de las empresas cooperativas. A pesar de una práctica por siglos del cooperativismo a nivel internacional, persisten las dificultades desde el punto de vista teórico en la definición de su modelo de gestión, máxime cuando el movimiento está abocado a demostrar su viabilidad en las condiciones de un mundo neoliberal y globalizado.
