Una revisión de la concepción ortodoxa de la transición del socialismo al capitalismo

Abstract

Tras el colapso de las economías centralmente planificadas en los países del Este de Europa, el proceso de transición ha perseguido implantar un sistema capitalista donde la propiedad privada y el mercado constituirían las instituciones fundamentales del proceso económico. En general, el modelo de transición desarrollado se ha basado en el enfoque ortodoxo. Este trabajo analiza críticamente los fundamentos y características del enfoque ortodoxo de la transición. Para ello, se examinan sus fundamentos últimos, su programa de reforma económica y los resultados de la misma. Por último, se ofrece una visión alternativa a los fundamentos que sustentan los enfoques ortodoxos.
