Abstract

Los procesos de integración económica responden a la lógica del régimen de producción flexible implementados a nivel mundial. Su efecto en las economías locales radica en su apertura económica y tratados de cooperación. Su efecto a nivel regional adquiere algunas matizaciones de tipo general, que sin negar las singularidades de los procesos de integración de cada región, son rasgos comunes del proceso de globalización. El trabajo trata de delinear los rasgos comunes y sus expresiones regionales, locales y sobre todo, en la ciudad que conlleva la implementación del nuevo régimen de producción flexible, tanto para iberoamérica, pero en especial de México.
