Abstract

La droga es una necesidad que se registra como una constante a lo largo de la historia de la humanidad y cuyo fundamento está basado en la incapacidad que los seres humanos tenemos para aceptar la condición de finitud inherente al fenómeno de la vida. “La dependencia a las drogas ha sido definida como un estado de malestar producido por la suspensión brusca de una droga en el individuo que ha estado sometidota los efectos del fármaco mediante su administración repetida en forma crónica. La dependencia puede manifestarse solamente por apreciaciones subjetivas y sensaciones molestas de insatisfacción, poco definidas en cuanto a su naturaleza, que dan lugar al deseo (desde moderado hasta muy intenso) de obtener mediante el consumo de la droga los efectos y sensaciones percibidas en anteriores administraciones. Estas características corresponden a la dependencia psíquica o psicológica”
