Abstract

La Psicología como ciencia aporta conocimientos al Licenciado en Enfermería a partir de diversas ramas de aplicación: Psicología General, Psicología Social, Psicología de las Edades y Psicología de la Salud. Estos deben ser adecuadamente estructurados en la disciplina para que este sistema de conocimientos sea una “herramienta que en manos” de estos profesionales les permita realizar una adecuada interacción con los individuos y los grupos humanos en relación con el proceso salud-enfermedad y lograr ejecutar acciones de salud eficaces, no iatrogenizantes y con profesionalismo, en todos los niveles del SNS y en cada una de las áreas de la práctica profesional: prevención, promoción, diagnóstico, tratamiento y rehabilitación.
