Caracterización psicopedagógica de la timidez en la edad escolar. Recomendaciones para su atención

Abstract

El segundo principio de la Declaración de los Derechos del Niño (ONU, 1959) exige para los infantes una protección especial y disposición de oportunidades y servicios, dispensados todos ellos por la ley y por otros medios, para que puedan desarrollarse física, mental, moral, espiritual y socialmente de forma saludable. Son muchos los esfuerzos que desde diferentes instituciones se realizan para alcanzar este propósito siendo esenciales los aportes que desde la educación puedan conseguirse para atender a la diversidad logrando promover el protagonismo y comportamientos competentes de nuestra infancia en la sociedad, de ahí que el presente material brinda al docente de la Enseñanza Primaria el conocimiento sobre las principales manifestaciones y características más frecuentes de los escolares tímidos así como algunas recomendaciones generales para el trabajo psicopedagógico con los mismos.
