Abstract

El tema de la identidad profesional, ha adquirido una importancia extraordinaria para el proceso formativo que se lleva a cabo en las instituciones universitarias. Este significado responde a las nuevas vivencias que en las condiciones sociales de la coyuntura postmoderna se han puesto de manifiesto, convirtiéndose en el nuevo prisma a través del cual se descubren, comprenden y examinan todos los demás aspectos de la vida contemporánea. De ahí la proliferación de estudios sobre el tema a pesar de que siempre ha interesado saber quiénes somos y por qué necesitamos una identidad.
