Abstract

¿Por qué una reedición de la obra de List?. "...En el Fondo de Cultura Económica publica con este tomo, la primera de las Obras Maestras de la Economía, serie que ha venido preparando desde hace tres años. A la Economía nacional de List, seguirían muy pronto los Principios de Mill y de Malthus, el Segundo ensayo sobre el principio de la pobalción del mismo Malthus..." Así reza la "advertencia al lector", de la primera edición en español del Sistema nacional de economía política de Federico List, hecha en 1942. Esta reedición se realiza a poco más de 50 años del inicio de este ilustre proyecto de la Casa Editorial que tuvo como propósito poner al alcance del estudioso de habla hispana las obras más trascendentes de la economía. No es coincidencia que a la obra de List le haya correspondido el honor de iniciar la citada serie...
