Abstract

Introducción. El análisis económico tradicional interpreta la estructura de las relaciones existentes entre los países y las empresas transnacionales de control extranjero como si se caracterizara fundamentalmente por una armonía de intereses. La conclusión se basa en argumentos sobre el beneficio mutuo que se puede derivar de la promoción de actividades económicas nuevas, inducidas u originadas por el flujo de factores de producción, bienes y servicios a través de las fronteras nacionales. Tal análisis ha sido un instrumento eficaz para la racionalización de los intereses públicos o privados según se expresan en posiciones o políticas gubernamentales hacia la inversión privada directa en el resto del mundo...
