Abstract

I. El capitalismo a prueba. En todas partes del mundo el sistema capitalista está hoy a prueba. Está en peligro de su vida no sólo en Europa, donde por mucho tiempo ha tenido que hacer frente al desafío de un activo movimiento socialista, sino también en los Estados Unidos, donde hasta hoy su posición había parecido inexpugnable. Porque el socialismo nunca ha sido en América una fuerza a la que tomar en cuenta, y hasta apenas el otro día el socialismo, basado en el movimiento de la clase obrera, parecía presentar el único desafío serio que el capitlaismo tenía que afrontar...
