Estimación de la función de importaciones para México: Una revisión 1961-1986

Abstract

Introducción. El comportamiento de la función de importaciones para México ha sido estudiado por Salas(1982a y b). En ambos artículos se presentan estimaciones de la función de importaciones por tipo de bien y sector institucional para el periodo 1961-1979. En el análisis se llevan a cabo pruebas estadísticas para determinar el tipo de especificación que mejor se ajuste a la información, así como una serie de comparaciones con otros estudios realizados para México en años anteriores, y se proporciona la evidencia empírica en esta materia publicada para otros países, tanto desarrollados como en vía de desarrollo.
