Calisanin Sahip Oldugu Duygusal Zekasinin ve Duygusal Emeginin, Gorev Performansi ve Baglamsal Performans Uzerindeki Etkisi

Abstract

Calisma yasaminda duygusal emek; calisanlarin hizmet verdik-leri sure icinde, kendilerinden beklenen duygulari sergilemeleridir. Calisanlarin emek surecine katabildikleri son olgu duygularidir. Ozellikle saglik sektorunde calisanlardan, hastalara/musterilere karsi bir takim duygular sergilemeleri beklenmektedir. Bu duygularin kontrolunde bireyin sahip oldugu “duygusal zeka” onun bireysel is basarisi kadar bireysel performansini da etkilemektedir. Bu dusuncelerle yapilan arastirmanin temel konusu; saglik sektorunde hastalarla oldukca yakin iliski icinde bulunan hemsirelerin “duygusal zeka” ve “duygusal emek” boyutlarini tespit ederek, bu kisilerin hizmet sonucunda gostermis oldugu performans kalitesinin artirilabileceginin mumkun olabilecegini kanitlamaya yoneliktir. Bu amaca ulasmak icin, Celal Bayar Universitesi Hastanesinde gorev alan 72 hemsire uzerinde bir anket calismasi yapilmistir. Sonuclar oldukca dikkat cekicidir: Ele alinan butun degiskenler arasinda anlamli ilis-kiler bulunmustur. Ayrica “yuzeysel davranis” seklinin disinda “duygusal emek” boyutlari arasinda bulunan “derin davranis” ile “duygusal zeka” boyutlarini olusturan faktorler arasindaki pozitif ve anlamli iliski, calisanin is performansini olumlu yon-de etkilemektedir.
