Turkiye’de Ticari Bankalarin Performansini Etkileyen Faktorler

Abstract

Bu calisma Turkiye’de 1995-2009 yillari arasinda faaliyet gosteren ticari bankalarin performanslarini etkileyen icsel ve dissal faktorleri belirlemeyi amaclamistir. Yontem olarak panel veri analizi kullanilmis, performans olcutu olarak aktif karliligi, net faiz marji ve ozkaynak karliligi goz onune alinmistir. Sonuclar bankacilik performansinin daha cok mikro degiskenlerden etkilendigini, ve makroekonomik faktorlerin anlamli duzeyde bir etkisinin olmadigini gostermistir. 2001 krizinin genel olarak negatif etkisinin olmasi da ekonominin genel olarak istikrarli durumda olmasinin banka performansini etkiledigini gostermektedir.
